As Nadeau's has entered our 42nd year in business, I continue to uphold my father's mission to provide our customers nothing but the best. It all began on March 10th 1969 when my father Bob Nadeau opened Bob Nadeau’s Subs next to King Bowling Lanes. My father’s mission was to provide his customers with the best subs using only premium quality Steak, Chicken, Deli Meats, Cheeses and the freshest produce around, along with superior service in a clean family friendly restaurant.

In the early 1970’s the original Shoppe was forced to move due to the sale of the building to Cloutier Television. My father was now faced with the unpleasant prospect of having a business with only a few months left to find a new location. They say timing is everything in life, and luckily just in the knick of time, the Bedard family residence was put up for sale on Mast Road, which my father purchased. The building had to be quickly converted to a restaurant which was the first of many such renovations and additions to the “House of Subs” as his loyal customer base kept expanding.

I started working in the business October of 1990 and with the instruction of my father learned all aspects of the business. The ensuing decade I managed the Original Shoppe always taking great pride, joy and satisfaction in pleasing our patrons. During those years is when I came up with the idea of opening a 2nd Shoppe in South Manchester for the convenience of the folks who lived on the opposite side of the river.

In September of 1997 I met my best friend, companion and future wife to be, Heather whom I had the privilege of marrying in May of 2001.

In November of 2001 I opened Nadeau’s long awaited 2nd Shoppe, Jeremy Nadeau’s on the South side of Manchester at 100 Cahill Avenue. Now all our super customers as well as the folks who had yet to experience our award winning subs were able to so without having to make the West Side journey.
